Task Management · Assignment and Collaboration

"Who's working on this? How far along is it? When will it be done?" — ask these three questions and you find no one can say for sure; that's where a team starts to lose control. Task management makes everything explicit — "who does it, when it's due, how far along it is" — so no matter how many team to-dos pile up, nothing gets dropped.

Capabilities

From a Single To-Do to Team Collaboration

Five steps covered end to end: create, assign, track, collaborate and review

Task Creation

Title / description / owner / priority / due date / linked project all included; subtask breakdown supported

👥 Multi-Person Collaboration

Three roles — owner + participants + followers; @mentions notify reliably so the relevant people don't miss anything

📋 Kanban View

A four-column Kanban — to do / in progress / pending acceptance / done — with drag-and-drop status updates and overall progress visible at a glance

💬 Comments & Attachments

Logged comments under each task, with attachments supporting images / documents / links; @mentions reach the right people precisely

📢 Progress Reminders

Remind the owner a day before the due date and the manager when overdue; auto-escalate when the owner is unresponsive

📊 Personal / Team Views

Multiple perspectives — "assigned to me," "created by me," "all tasks"; a project dimension can also have its own Kanban

Kanban Visualization Ends Having to Ask "How Far Along Is It?"

In the past, asking a subordinate "is that thing done yet?" meant a phone call / message / group chat. The Kanban mode displays all tasks in columns by status — how many to do, in progress, pending acceptance — at a glance, so managers don't have to chase and subordinates don't have to report repeatedly.

  • Drag task cards to update status, no typing needed
  • The owner's avatar + due time are shown intuitively on the card
  • Overdue tasks highlighted in red, with priority marked by color
  • Filter the Kanban by project / tag / owner across multiple dimensions

Comments + @Mentions Keep Collaboration Context Clear

Task discussions scattered across chats, emails and calls leave you unable to trace "why was it decided this way?" later. Comments are logged under the task, @mentions notify precisely, and related document attachments hang right on the task — so a new hire can pick it up in half a day.

  • Comments support rich text, images and file links
  • @mentions auto-push notifications, avoiding being buried in a chat group
  • Historical comments shown in reverse order so the latest discussion is seen first
  • Key discussions can be pinned so important conclusions aren't missed
Use Cases

Common Ways to Use Task Management

Project Collaboration

Break new product development into multiple tasks, assign them to R&D / QA / operations by milestone, and track overall progress on the Kanban

Cross-Department Items

When Marketing needs R&D's help with a technical review, create a task assigned to the R&D lead, with the full communication history logged

Customer Follow-Up

Create tasks for "submit proposal" / "follow-up call" / "sign contract" as sales follow up with customers, with auto-reminders when due

Personal To-Dos

Employees put daily to-dos in the system instead of on sticky notes, viewing them on their phone away from the computer so nothing slips

Related Features

Collaboration Beyond Tasks

Tasks solve "following up on action items," while announcements / approvals / reports / documents handle other dimensions of collaboration
