    20+ Industrial Protocols: Even Old Equipment Goes to the Cloud

    10 lines collecting every second produce 860K × 10 = 8.6 million records a day; sending all of it straight to the central server wastes bandwidth and pressures the database. The edge gateway does time-series compression / anomaly filtering / business tagging locally before pushing to the cloud, cutting data volume by 90%.

    OEE = availability × performance × quality. SBK MES auto-recognizes status from equipment signals, computes quality from reporting data, and derives performance from output cycle times, giving a real OEE rather than an estimate.
